Who We Are...

About Us
Bulawayo Projects Centre (BPC) is an independent, leading private vocational training hub and micro-business incubator/Business Development Service Provider (BDS), locally registered in Zimbabwe as a Trust that focuses on youth self-employment programmes and business development support activities. Formed in 1993 by churches in Bulawayo, its mission is to provide assistance, support, and encouragement to underprivileged members of society through entrepreneurial capacity development.
BPC has over 30 years of practical experience and expertise in life skills, entrepreneurship development, and technical skills training, targeting unemployed school leavers, dropouts, and disadvantaged young women and men who wish to start income-generating activities to sustain themselves and their families. The Centre boasts five business incubation hubs in the high-density suburbs of Bulawayo, alongside a robust technical training and internship programme for young people. All BPC hubs act as business incubators with dedicated working spaces, supported by mentorship and coaching programmes to help small, incubated businesses grow.
Organizational Governance
Bulawayo Projects Centre’s activities are governed by a board of trustees and managed by an executive committee. The committee supervises the secretariat, which is headed by an executive director and is responsible for the day-to-day running of the organization. The executive committee delegates authority to the executive director, who attends committee meetings as an ex-officio member.
The committee ensures that the secretariat is equipped to deliver the organization’s strategies and operational plans, as well as other duties outlined in the terms of reference. It also provides thorough oversight of the organization’s finances, including accounts, budgets, and audits.
