Bulawayo Projects Centre is the technical lead in implementing activities that contribute towards the increase of Gender Equitable income among extremely poor and chronically vulnerable households, women and youth.

2022 - 2025 | The Access Project

The project addresses societal, policy, training and skills gaps hindering vulnerable young people, including young women, in accessing employment. 

2021 - 2023 | Urban Agriculture and Infrastructural Expansion Project

The project strengthened  institutional capacity for vocational training through expansion of training facilities and incubation workspaces. These were coupled with toilet facilities expansion and establishment of urban gardens and water harvesting systems. 

2022 - 2023 | Innovative Partnerships for Life Skills and Employability Opportunities for Vulnerable Young People

— SOS Heimstaden Foundation

The project addressed physical, economic, attitudinal and communication barriers hindering vulnerable young people including young women in accessing employment both formal and informal in Bulawayo Province and Matabeleland North Province. 

2018 - 2019 | USAID Zimbabwe Works Project

— Catholic Relief Services

Provided tailor-made business development services to caregivers.The project benefited 5,000 caregivers.

2017 - 2020 | Rural Framer Training Project

The project’s objective was to promote the diversification of agricultural output for sustainable food and nutrition security and incomes in Insiza and Umzingwane districts. The project reached 400 farmers and 400 youth, focusing on vocational and entrepreneurship training.

2015 - 2018 | Zimbabwe Resilience Building Fund

Participated in the ZRBF grant which was designed to build the resilience of individuals, households, and communities in rural Zimbabwe. BPC provided Business Development Services to young people in Matabeleland North and Matabeleland South Provinces. 

2016 - 2017 | USAID Pathways Project

— International Youth Foundation

Bulawayo Projects Centre provided tailor-made business development services to caregivers in form business training, financial literacy, increasing access to affordable entrepreneurship and micro-finance. The project benefited 2000 urban youth entrepreneurs.

2015 - 2016 | Adolescent Girls and Young Mothers Economic Strengthening Program

— Bantwana Zimbabwe

Bulawayo Projects Centre partnered Bantwana Zimbabwe to pilot the (AGYM) economic strengthening programme. The project provided tailor-made business development services, TVET, financial literacy, increasing access to affordable finance and viable market linkages.
